The Debate Mate Team took part in the Debate Mate Cup at Goldsmiths University on the 21st April 2022. They were all a little nervous, but excited as this was their first opportunity to debate face to face with other primary school children from around London. In preparation, the children produced one motion and one unseen motion to excel on the day. Each team won one debate but unfortunately, lost the other. One of the children won a Nando’s voucher for the best floor question. Well done! The children look forward to final sessions in May 2022 where they will be taking part in the Deloitte Futures Month.
