Southwold enjoyed a fantastic Hispanic Day celebration, with this year’s theme focusing on drama and performance.
Children proudly dressed in traditional clothing from Spanish-speaking countries or in the colours of their national flags, filling the school with colour, culture and creativity. Throughout the day, they showcased their acting talents through performances linked to topics they have studied this year and enjoyed a delicious traditional Spanish lunch.
To round off the celebrations, Key Stage 2 took part in an interactive Spanish pantomime, Un Ensayo Desastroso, with several children joining the cast and performing alongside the actors.
It was a wonderful day celebrating language, culture and learning together. ¡Olé!
