Year 5 and Year 6 pupils are given the opportunity to access programmes delivered by IntoUniversity. This programme is designed to raise aspirations early, broaden pupils’ understanding of future education and career pathways and build the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed. Through a structured programme of academic support, aspiration-raising workshops and enrichment activities, pupils develop key skills such as resilience, independence, teamwork and effective communication. They also take part in a range of trips and workshops that introduce them to university environments and different professions, helping to make future pathways feel tangible and achievable. The programme culminates in a graduation ceremony, celebrating pupils’ commitment and achievements, reinforcing a sense of pride, belonging and ambition as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
