For World Book Day, Southwold was delighted to welcome parents into classrooms to share the joy of reading with their children. It was a lovely opportunity for families to experience the classroom and inspire a love of books. Children also visited Year 1 to read stories in small groups, proudly sharing their favourite books and acting as reading role models for younger pupils. Teachers even swapped classes for the day, making it a fun whole-school celebration of reading.
