Our first day at PGL has been a fantastic start to the trip! The children settled into their rooms quickly and jumped straight into a variety of exciting activities. They have taken part in archery, where they practised balance, coordination, and aiming, as well as orienteering, working in pairs to find items using maps. Through this, they developed skills such as identifying compass points, reading coordinates, and understanding map symbols.
The children have also had lots of fun on the giant swing, where they demonstrated excellent teamwork and encouragement for one another. Throughout the day, there have been plenty of smiles, laughter, and opportunities to try something new and build confidence.
We will have dinner at 5:30pm, followed by some resting time before another exciting day tomorrow. It’s safe to say the children have had a wonderful first day and are already looking forward to what’s to come!
