Each academic year, our Year 3 pupils participate in weekly sessions. This week the children learned the basics rules of chess, they were introduced to the different chess pieces and learned how to set up their board. Through these sessions, they will develop their strategic thinking skills, learning to combine problem solving, pattern recognition and creative thinking.
